Terms

Terms, in plain language.

The whole deal: what’s included, what isn’t, how revisions and refunds work, and what happens if we’re late. If anything here conflicts with a package page, this page wins.

1. The packages and their prices

Website Factory sells three fixed-price, one-time website packages:

  • Launch — $1,900. 5-page marketing site, copy polish pass, contact/lead form, analytics wiring, mobile-first build, 1 revision round, 14-business-day delivery SLA.
  • Grow — $3,900. Up to 12 pages, blog-ready structure, email capture integration, SEO foundations, copy polish pass, lead form, analytics wiring, 2 revision rounds, 21-business-day delivery SLA.
  • Scale — $7,900. Everything in Grow, plus up to 3 third-party integrations (CRM, booking, payments), a verified performance budget, a 30-day post-launch support window, 3 revision rounds, 30-business-day delivery SLA.

Prices are one-time, not subscriptions. There are no ongoing license fees to Website Factory.

2. Scope lock

After you submit the order form, we confirm your scope in writing within 1 business day: the exact page list, integrations, and delivery date. That confirmation is the scope lock. The delivery SLA clock starts on scope lock, counted in business days.

The clock pauses while we wait on you — for feedback, assets, copy, or account access — and resumes when you deliver. We’ll tell you when the clock pauses and restarts.

3. What’s excluded

Excluded from all packages: custom web applications (logins, dashboards, SaaS products); native mobile apps; ongoing content writing beyond the included copy polish pass; logo or brand identity design; custom illustration or photography. Each package page lists its own additional exclusions, which are part of these terms.

4. Revision credits

One revision round = one consolidated feedback list from you, submitted within 7 days of receiving a draft. We apply the whole list and return the next draft.

  • Launch includes 1 round, Grow includes 2, Scale includes 3.
  • Unused rounds expire at launch.
  • Extra rounds, approved in writing before they start: $290 (Launch), $490 (Grow), $790 (Scale).
  • A revision round covers changes within the locked scope. New pages, new integrations, or new features are change orders, not revisions.

5. Change orders

Anything outside the locked scope is a change order: we scope it, price it (starting at $450), and you approve it in writing before any work begins. Change orders have their own delivery dates and don’t change the original package price.

6. Delivery SLA and remedies

If we miss your delivery date by more than 5 business days (excluding paused waiting time), you receive a 10% credit toward change orders or future work, applied automatically — no claim needed. The credit doesn’t stack with refunds: if you cancel and take a pro-rated refund, the credit doesn’t apply to the refunded portion.

7. Payment

Payment is collected through Stripe Checkout — a secure, Stripe-hosted payment page. We never ask for card details by email or on our site. Submitting the order form doesn’t charge you anything; you pay after your scope is confirmed.

8. Refunds

  • Before the build starts: full refund, no questions asked.
  • After the build starts, before launch: pro-rated refund based on work completed. We show you the breakdown: design, copy polish, build, and integrations completed vs. remaining.
  • After launch: the package price is non-refundable. The Scale 30-day post-launch support window still applies to fixes on what was delivered.

Refunds go to the original payment method within 10 business days.

9. Cancellation

You can cancel any time before launch by emailing us; the refund rules in section 8 apply. We can cancel if you don’t provide required assets or feedback for 30 consecutive days after two written reminders — in that case the pro-rated refund still applies.

10. Ownership and handoff

At launch, you own the site outright: full site files, and everything runs on accounts you own (domain, hosting, analytics, integrations). We keep a backup for 90 days after launch in case you need a re-send, then delete it.

11. What you provide

Draft copy, logo and brand assets, the inbox address for lead notifications, access to any accounts being integrated (email provider, CRM, booking, payments), and one decision-maker who can approve drafts. You confirm you have the rights to the text, images, and trademarks you supply.

12. Fair-use limits

These are productized packages, not agency retainers. Feedback that restarts the design from scratch, or requirements that arrive in drips across weeks, may be scoped as a change order or a fresh package rather than absorbed into revision rounds. We’ll always say so before charging anything.

Questions about these terms? Ask before you order — we’d rather clear it up now than argue later. Start at the FAQ or begin an order.
